Green Painted Tables


These lovely little walnut tables were in really sad shape. One of the tops was deeply
stained so I had to paint. However I was able to show off the wonderful walnut in the
drawer fronts.



Primitive Wardrobe

Before


This was a primitive wardrobe I picked up at a junk auction for $5 and I really enjoyed
working on this. I don't think it was professionally made because none the board edges
were sanded and there were big gaps where things came together however it was
surprisingly sturdy. It wasn't made from any kind of wonderful wood so I decided to paint
instead of striping it. I covered all the raw edges with little moldings added some
decorative pieces and below is the after picture.

When I took it apart the mirror was stamped "1912" and now it has a new life in a
friends little girls bedroom.
